Digital printing on t-shirts using specialized or modified inkjet printers. The inks that are used in DTG printers are inkjet textile inks. Once applied, these inks are directly absorbed by the fibbers of the t-shirt. DTG printing is also an easy way to transfer your styles on t-shirt, but sadly, the price of the printer itself isn’t budget-friendly, particularly if you have limited money once beginning a t-shirt printing business.
It will print your actual computer graphics to your t-shirt. No need to minimize the colour of the logo like in Silk Screen. Best as souvenirs, gifts, promotional t-shirts, and plenty more!
Digital Printing uses dark and light transfer paper, image is being printed to dark Transfer (to coloured t-shirt) and light Transfer (for white t-shirt) and then to be transferred to cotton t-shirts. It will print the actual layout, no matter how many colours it has. Digital printing may also look even as good as Silk Screen printing. Layouts can be simply created and customised. However the disadvantages are: Since the design is printed with special ink and special paper, the image fades a little quicker as compared to Silk Screen printed t-shirt that’s printed with paint. Thus Digital Printing isn’t suggested as uniforms, these are ideal as gifts, souvenirs, novelty items, promo items and etc.
